I have heard the name I believe just from going to barrelraces A LONG TIME AGO at least about 7-8 years ago.....I wouldn't know him if I ran into him and I believe he did more futurities then anything....BUT hey I've always thought the more people you see and techniques you learn maybe you can mix and match and find something that works for you...but no I don't know him or much about him as a trainer or person for that matter just heard the name at futurities and barrelraces  [Confused]

I don't know him personally (Kelly Conrado), but have seen him run at futurities. He sure could ride the hair off them futurity colts.

Kelly's been around awhile and trains/rides some really good horses - I believe he lives in Colorado.  I have an old 1989 tape of the OKC futurity that I still watch.  I believe Kelly was in the top 3 (Miss Get Gone Leo won it) and what impresses me about his style is that he doesn't "man handle" a horse the way you see other men futurity riders ride.  He's very smooth and easy and appears to just let the horse work.  Is this the clinic you're going to?  I'd go in a heartbeat if it weren't so far away from me.
