Okay this is Ruger he is a 7yr old dash for cash gelding, I started him lightly lasty year or so on barrels just playing around once in a while, then these past few months have stepped it up on him, we had our first compition last week or so ago and he was like 2 sec of the fastest horses there was 189 the first day then 170 or so the second day there were like the best of the best barrel horses there, he got like 18th in the 3d wich I thought was awsome for his first compition then he got a little better time the next day. Saturday we had a nbha run he did really good again, there was 51 horses we were last lol he got a 14.787 the fastest was a mid 12, we did 3 time onlys the first one I was just trotting then I slow loped it got a 16 somthing then did a little faster and got a 15 somthing so he did good. I have some videos of us practicing out at the fair grounds this wasnt the compitions I know we have some mess ups in a couple of the videos he tripped on the 3rd. Let me know what you think of him thanks! Sorry its so long!

Gorgeous horses! I like Ruger! Sounds like he is coming along good. On your breastcollars, the strap between their front legs, that is wayyyy to loose.

Yea he is a cutie, he is prob about 14.2 maby he isn't very tall but he has a lot of speed for his size. He is such a nice horse. He is my Hubbbys horse hehe my barrel horse just had her baby on the 10th so I am using his for a backup I guess you could call it even though now im working on seasoning him, then this summer I have 2 horses I have to train under saddle, then once I get the one going I will start her very lightly on barrels she is 5 and my other one I will be starting next summer when he turns 3. Its going to be a busy summer for us.

What a cutie! He seems real sane [Big Grin]

How do you like that Sherry Cervi Bit, is it the one with the dog bone twisted wire? I was just wondering, I'm hankering to get one to transist Jessie out of the O-ring into, one that's like the Junior Cowhorse, but with a little more shank-length to it, does he work pretty well in it?

Pretty tack set too, it all looks good on him! [Not Worthy]
