My horse usually runs 1D times, but we always just miss getting a check. Every time I come out of the arena everyone always says he wasn't running as hard as he could. He books it to the first turns perfect and lopes to the second and I have to really pick him up around it so he wont blast it, and goes a bit faster to the third, and then books it home. I push him.

My question is what advice do you have for me so I can really get him to get up and go inbetween the barrels, im almost positive we would be up in the money everytime if he would just push himself and stop anticipating the turn so much. Could it be that he needs to build up his hind end more or just work him on taking of in short spurts? Please help any advice would be great.
